About Auto Link
From Apture Wiki
(Redirected from What is Auto Link?)
Auto Link is an Apture feature that enables automatic conversion of most normal hyperlinks to Apture Links. When Auto Link is enabled on your Apture Account, links such as YouTube videos and Wikipedia Articles become Apture Links.
Adding Links Before Publishing
This feature lets you add Apture Links before your website or blog is live. Just follow these three simple steps:
- Enable Auto Link on your Account. You can enable Auto Link by editing your account settings.
- Visit www.apture.com and Sign in to your Apture Account.
- Next Click Edit Settings and scroll down to the Auto Link section.
- You can then choose to Enable or Disable Auto Link for Reference, Video, Images and/or Audio.
- Add hyperlinks to your webpage or blog post during editing. Do this by creating an <a href: > tag, or using your blogging/web mastering software to add normal hyperlinks
- Publish the post or webpage. The Apture links should appear immediately afterwards, but you may have to wait it a few seconds or reload the page.
