Caution!
- It is important that your Apture account only be used on site domains that you've personally registered. To protect your information, we don't want anyone to take your Apture Script from the source code on your site, and install it on another domain (e.g. www.badwebsite.com).
URL Prefixes protect your account
- URL Prefixes prevent someone else from taking your Apture Script and installing it on another domain. Apture will only function on pages whose address begins with URL prefixes you specify. For example, if your Apture site had the single "URL Prefix" www.website.com and you installed the Apture Script on that site, then the Apture publishing tool and experience will only work on pages with an address beginning with "http://www.website.com/". When Apture sees that your site does not include www.badwebsite.com in its URL Prefixes list, it disallows editing and signing in on that page.
